Chhurpi (Hard Dried Cheese) is dried cheese made out of yak's milk. The milk is turned into curd and are kept at room temperature for 2-3 days. Once the cheese is made, then it is sliced and left to dry in the sun or dried in the oven on low heat. This type of Chhurpi becomes very hard and last up to 4-5 years.
